How to Pay Rent

Paying rent at Swift is straightforward. Everything runs through your Resident Center — no checks, no Venmo, no chasing anyone down.

Before You Pay

Make sure you've set up your Resident Center account and added a payment method. If you haven't done that yet, check out our guide on How to Set Up Your Resident Portal Account first.

When Is Rent Due?

Rent is due on the 1st of each month. Log in before the due date to make sure your payment processes on time.

How to Submit a Payment

  1. Log in to your Resident Center account
  2. Navigate to the Payments tab
  3. Enter the amount you're paying — this is your portion, not the full house total
  4. Select your payment method and confirm

That's it. You'll get a confirmation once the payment goes through.

Payment Options

ACH / EFT — Free The easiest and most cost-effective way to pay. Connect your checking account and pay directly from your bank. No fees, no catch.

Credit or Debit Card Cards are accepted but come with a processing fee that gets passed through at cost. If you want to avoid the fee, ACH is the way to go.

Set It and Forget It — Autopay

If you'd rather not think about rent every month, set up autopay in your Resident Center. Enter your portion of the rent, pick your payment method, and it runs automatically on the 1st.

Highly recommended if you're prone to forgetting — late payments affect everyone on a collective lease.

A Note on the Collective Lease

Your lease is structured as a collective lease, which means the full house rent shows up as one total amount. Don't let that number stress you out. You only need to enter and pay your individual portion each month. Everyone on the lease does the same.
